Design Services
We offer custom design services for both hardware and software and
are able to provide full drawings and prototype equipment to customer
requirements.
Maintenance
Equipment maintenance is an important part of keeping monitoring and
control systems operating correctly. We are able to support any equipment
in our product catalogue, by telephone, in house or on site. Full
repair facilities allow us to turn around equipment repairs with minimal
delay. For problems involving site based equipment, our engineers
are able to visit site-based in order to rectify equipment problems
Calibration
Alarm panels and controllers will need regular calibration to conform
to current hygiene regulations. On and off site calibrations are available
on all temperature monitoring equipment. We are able to provide traceability
certificates for the calibration equipment used.
Control Panel Manufacture
Using CDK to manufacture control panels including our equipment is
an excellent way of ensuring that all specifications for our equipment
are complied with. Once we are in receipt of drawings and any other
customer requirements, we can provide prices and delivery information.
All panels include full wiring diagrams and are electrically and operationally
tested before leaving the factory.
Installation
Equipment installation services are available. This ranges from gas-detection
systems in plantrooms and coldrooms to Alarm panel wiring and commissioning.
Service
Our service department is equipped to handle any problems that a customer
may have on site. Spares are available for over 90% of all equipment
manufactured in the past 15 years. We are normally able to have an
engineer in attendance within 24hrs if required. Weekend callout facilities
are available, ensuring that you are not left without support.
Repair
We have full test and repair facilities for any piece of equipment
we manufacture and are able to offer fast turnaround on repairs.
Commissioning
A range of commissioning services is available. Alarm panels are commissioned
in order to guarantee the installed functionality of our control equipment.
The commissioning process can be quite lengthy and involved; as a
result it is recommended that customers speak to CDK in order to ascertain
their requirements. As a guideline we recommend that 2 days is required
for a Storescan III system and 1 day is required for a Multiscan system.
Actual duration will depend on site location, store size and any wiring
faults or other problems encountered.
