CDK Electronics Ltd was formed in 1986 by Brian Cook, Alan Daniel and Mike Kelly (Independent Design Consultants). Brian has since retired from the company in 2001.

Following a chance meeting with one of the major UK Refrigeration Contractors and after discussions it became clear that a competitively-priced, flexible refrigeration alarm panel had a bright future. Taking the opportunity, CDK Electronics Ltd was formed. Within 14 weeks, using its in-house skills, a 50 channel alarm panel was designed, manufactured and fitted into an "ASDA Superstore".

Over the past 16 years, steady growth has resulted in new generation alarm panels, display case controllers and ancillary control equipment being introduced.

As an independent manufacturer CDK Electronics Ltd has been able to sell to all major and minor refrigeration contractors and has capitalized on its after sales service which is second to none.

CDK continues to offer a service as a design consultancy and has retained selected customers in the Nuclear and Mass Spectrometry industries.

The company is actively pursuing the 'Investors in People UK' certification.
